The country's energy systems have come under escalating strikes in recent weeks

Overnight, Moscow's aerial assaults have caused power cuts in multiple districts of Ukraine's capital, Kyiv.

Several individuals were wounded while residents in the city's east were left without electricity and faced interruptions to drinking water, as stated by city officials.

At the same time, a seven-year-old child was lost their life in a separate assault in the Zaporizhzhia region in the country's south-east, according to local officials.

Several of the people injured in the strikes on the city have been transported for medical care, according to municipal representatives.
